Executive Team
Micah McElveen, President:
Micah's dream of playing pro ball was shattered in 1996 after he crushed several vertebrae in his neck in a devastating surfing accident. During the intense recovery period, God began to reshape Micah and teach him the brevity of life. Micah, not able to play football, picked up soccer and went on to play in college where he later graduated with a Bachelor's in Intercultural Studies. While in graduate school, he traveled to Africa and was shocked by the humanitarian crisis he witnessed there. Rocked by the exposure to abject poverty and spiritual darkness, a vision to bring aid and sustainable life change was born. That vision led to the founding of Vapor Sports Ministries. Micah and his wife, Audrey, together have fully devoted their lives to fulfill the mission of Vapor.
Dustin Rosner, Vice-President:
Dustin discovered his purpose and pursued vocational ministry under the mentorship of Cam South. At the age of eighteen, he made the decision to attend Bible College, where he graduated with a degree in Missions, and more importantly, met his incredible wife Joli. Over the last ten years, they have focused their efforts on youth ministry and executive leadership. They have served at Cherry Street in Springfield, Mo. and Midway in San Diego, Cal. Both have a strong passion for life-on-life discipleship and developing others in a relationship with Christ. They are honored to be serving God through Vapor. Along with their three children, they live in Chelsea, Alabama.
Daniel Roberts, Executive Director of Financial Progress
After a successful track and cross-country career at Western Kentucky University, Daniel received his B.S. in Accounting and put his degree immediately to work. After one year as a credit and investments analyst for First Southern National Bank in Kentucky, Daniel began serving as the personal assistant to the chairman of the bank. While aspiring to climb the corporate ladder, God began to grip Daniel’s heart late in 2007 with an urgency and passion to reach people around the world with the Gospel and to care for the poor and destitute. Early in 2009, Daniel left the bank, his home and Lancaster Baptist Church, where he led worship, and joined Good Samaritan School in New Delhi, India, teaching basic education to children from the slums. Upon his return to the States in July 2009, God quickly moved Daniel into action with Vapor Sports Ministries. Daniel feels extremely privileged to be a part of what God is doing through Vapor.
